These days dark cloud gloom above America.
After the most brutal shooting in modern-day age, we are all in complete shock.
But when times get tough, President Trump always rises to the occasion.
He is a true leader that can handle any kind of situation. And in the aftermath of the shooting in Las Vegas, Trump’s message to police officers was a breath of fresh air on a tragic day like yesterday.
A frenzied lunatic gunman pulled the trigger and fired an array of bullets towards a large crowd from a high vantage point in the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. At least 58 people were killed and over 400 hundred people are injured in the shooting. President Trump went out in public to speak about the incident and what he said via a phone call to Las Vegas Metro Police Department Sheriff Joe Lombardo is incredible. Trump said to Sheriff Lombardo: “The fast response that you gave, saved hundreds of additional people from being killed.”

Trump addressed the nation on Monday morning and complimented every single first responder that was up to their task: “I want to thank the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police department and all of the first responders for their courageous efforts and for helping to save the lives of so many.” Trump continued his statement: “The speed with which they acted is miraculous and prevented further loss of life. To have found the shooter so quickly after the first shots were fired is something for which we will always be thankful and grateful. It shows what true professionalism is all about.”
In tough times like this, it’s hard to find a sliver of positive thought. But it’s music to our ears to hear Trump praise police officers who were on their A game and did everything in their power to calm the “storm.”
Trump’s comments are a breath of fresh air after Obama chose to speak against the police for eight long years and refused to speak about anti-law enforcement groups.
