During his visit to China, President Donald Trump was well treated with huge respect.
Apparently, they appreciate his leadership.
They even called him “Donald the Strong.”
NY Times reported that they even created a fan page online to show their respect. He gained the respect from many people who thought of him “as a straight-talking politician and business mogul with a knack for deal-making.”
A citizen of the eastern province of Jiangsu, Dai Xiang has joined in an internet group that counts more than 23,000 people stated: “He’s true to himself. He’s real, unlike politicians.” There are many others nicknames, including “Grand Commander, Uncle Trump.” After he met with President Xi Jinping, one supporter wrote: “Long live Emperor Trump!”
According to Allen B. West, most of them like his style of communicating, which is true and straight with his facts. He is very different in his work from the previous administrations. Unlike the Democrats, the people in China understand his value.
Li Yang, local designer stated: “As a successful businessman, Trump definitely won’t ignore the huge size of China’s consumer base.”
Also, one 56-years-old delivery man, Liu Chunyu said: “If he’s doing good for China, I like him. If not, I don’t like him.”
Many Chinese “have a strong revulsion and hostility toward ‘political correctness’ in Western society,” wrote political commentator in Shanghai, Chen Jibing. “They see themselves in Trump,” he added.
As reported: “Mr. Trump’s most effective tool in winning over Chinese audiences may be his family. His daughter Ivanka, who started her own fashion brand, is regarded as a role model for young Chinese entrepreneurs. His 6-year-old granddaughter, Arabella, became a nationally known figure this year after a video appeared of her singing in Chinese.”
It is promising to see that there is finally a president, who can take a stand for his country and keep the respect from his allies. His trip to Asia was a very successful mission, he spoke with many foreign leaders regarding the North Korean nuclear regime.
