The protesting during the national anthem from the NFL players has raised a lot of reactions.
Their disrespectful behavior towards the country divided many people who have different views regarding these pointless protests.
Recently, Condoleezza Rice spoke on Fox News and denied the statements given from the protesters.
According to The Lutchman Report, Condoleeza started by saying: “We’ve had this birth defect of slavery, we’ve had a long history of racial injustice and trying to come to terms with it. No human society is perfect.”
The diplomat continued: “When you want to lead on an issue you want to bring as many people to your side as possible. I hope the players find a way to make their concerns known to talk about them honestly.”
“What do you mean by social justice? How are we going to get there? But to do it in a way to get people on your side without alienating people.”
Furthermore, she claimed: “I personally believe very strongly that the American flag stands for the millions of people who’ve sacrificed over the years with their lives and with their willingness to protest and to be really tough until we got better, it represents those people too.”
“And that’s the reason it needs to be respected not because America is perfect, America is imperfect, but as citizens of a democracy you have an obligation to work towards that perfection.”
Condoleezza concluded: “The flag is simply a symbol that we have greater freedoms than any other peoples in the world and so I would prefer to see it respected.”

She had a point in her statement which hopefully will help these NFL players to wake up and stop with their meaningless actions.
