On Wednesday, Al Green presented articles of impeachment against the commander in chief.
This is not the first attempt for him to impeach President Trump.
However, all of his statements were incompetent and didn’t receive an imminent vote.
According to Liberty Writers, he only caused drama and he said that the president “is fueling an alt-right hate machine” that’s “causing immediate injury to American society.” This is nonsense, mainly because the mainstream media are always turning the words from Trump in order to make them sound racist.
However, the facts and the real words given from Trump are saying otherwise.
Furthermore, Green stated that Trump has “undermined the integrity of his office” and “brought disrepute on the presidency.” His pointless statements weren’t even supported by the surrounding Democrats. Even Rep. Jerry Nadler stated: “I don’t want to vote on impeachment. I think it’s too early. We don’t have the evidence; we don’t have the case.”
Green first announced his intention to pursue impeachment last month, said he had not been asked to stand down before he came to the floor Wednesday. But he declined to say whether he had been approached after he gave his remarks.
Also, last month, in an interview, Green explained that he was compelled to pursue articles of impeachment after Trump shared his thoughts about the NFL football players who have engaged in protests during the playing of the national anthem before games.
However, they deserved what Trump has said, because they offended many Americans and showed disrespect towards the country.
President Trump hasn’t done anything wrong that can push this impeachment statement forward. There are no indications that Green’s resolution has anywhere near the majority support needed to pass.
