Sarah Huckabee Sanders was once again pressured to answer some questions on the big stage.
Reporters wanted to know what the White House Press Secretary thinks about Hillary Clinton’s recommended legislation to loosen restrictions on firearms.
Huckabee had the perfect response as always.
Her statement was loud and clear. Sanders said she and President Trump have other important things to take care of like responding to the greatest tragedy America has seen in modern-age history. After they take care of the victims and the survivors of the horrible shooting in Las Vegas, Sanders and Trump will talk about the legislation. Sanders stated: “I think before we start trying to talk about the prevention of what took place last night, we need to know more facts. Right now, we’re simply not at that point.” She added, “It’s very easy for Mrs. Clinton to criticize and to come out, but I think we need remember the only person with blood on their hands is that of the shooter. This isn’t a time for us to go after individuals or organizations.”
Huckabee Sanders thinks there are far more pressing issues to be taken care: “I think that we can have those policy conversations, but today is not that day.” Reporters were resilient and wanted to know Trump’s position on gun control legislation and Sanders replied that the President strongly supports the Second Amendment. Liberal media outlets will try to turn this incident in their favor to push their wicked agenda.
Numerous headlines popped out of nowhere blaming Trump’s administration about the horrible tragedy that took place in Las Vegas. But don’t let those headlines fool you, Trump’s government did everything in their power to stop these kinds of incidents. However, this was a freak manslaughter incident and most importantly it was an act of terrorism.
