Top Military Commander Makes Sudden Announcement – ‘US Marine Corps Aviation Units…’

Our country is known to have a great military, stacked in all categories.

Whether it is a NAVY or Marine, they are ready and armed at all times.

Because of that, it’s sad to see a malfunction cause someone becoming a victim.

Something rare will be happening during the next two weeks. After two major accidents happened in the last months, there will be aviation groundings. All Marine Corps will have at least on 24 hour pause, as reported by Western Journalism.

It is said that this is not a punishment, but an investigation to make sure everyone is safe and ready. The Corps will decide when they want to take the pause, so their  regular operation will not suffer major interruption.

Here is what the Marine Corps announced:

“Gen. Robert B. Neller, Commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps, directed U.S. Marine Corps aviation units to conduct an operational reset for a 24-hour period where no flight operations will take place, but no operational commitments will be impacted.”

They also said what it will be based on:

“The intent is for flying squadrons to review selected incidents which occurred enterprise-wide and study historical examples of completed investigations in order to bring awareness and best practices to the fleet.”

It is good to see a reaction after people lost their lives innocently while serving their country. Last week’s was the 11th accident this year, and it is the largest number we’ve seen since 2004. The damages round up at about 2 million, but human lives are more precious than cash.

Thornberry, known as the chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, also gave his thoughts on the investigation:

“Washington has asked our military to do too much with too little for too long,” he added. “As threats continue to grow, Congress must act as soon as possible to provide our military with all of the resources they need to repair what can be fixed and replace what cannot be repaired. It would be immoral to continue to use military funding as political leverage in the face of such striking evidence that our military is in a crisis that is partly of our own making.”

We hope this is enough of a case to make sure no more tragedies happen in the near future. We know they’re always possible, no matter the tech we use, but let’s get them to a minimum.

Scroll down to the comment section and discuss this case – how do we fix it?

I’m so glad that they are looking into the causes of these accidents. I’m glad that they care for the safety of the people and are being practical.

This decision is necessary to keep our Military Forces Safe and any equipment they use in proper working condition while defending Air, Land and Sea! In our personal lives we get our furnace, windows, etc checked or fixed prior to Winter, we take our vehicles in for regular maintenance to avoid any problems, mechanically, on the road. I applaud the Armed Forces for their diligence to protect our Service Members and their equipment!

I think the cause is quite evident after ten years of neglect of the military by the obuma demon rat communist administration.
